Mother's Day: Part One - The Flowers

The whole family went to Brookside Gardens to see the Wings of Fancy exhibit. Along the way to visit the butterflies, we spotted many beautiful flowers. Here is just a sampling . . .

I love the combination of green and yellow on these leaves.

This over-achieving plant produces a mini red pineapple flower that produces yellow flowers.

Perhaps my favorite - a perfect mini-pineapple.

And a flower that's part koosh ball!
