Just Tryin' to Hang

This little guy was just hanging out in my watering can enjoying the coolness and I surprised him when I filled the can . . . two times before he hopped off!

Yours Is Prettier Than Ours #3

A mural painted on an abandoned gas station located at a busy intersection in a small downtown . . . wait a minute . . . there's a corner just like that in Princeton Junction. But no. This was spotted in Langhorne, PA. Langhorne . . . a small town combining historic homes, small businesses, and traffic moving at 35 mph. And there wasn't a "yield to pedestrians" sign to be seen. And it's pretty to look at. How does anyone live there?!?!?

Having a Bad Day?

While on the Einstein tour, we passed this Princeton University dorm window. Probably wasn't there when Albert used to walk by . . .

Following in Albert's Footsteps

Walking towards the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. How's this for a gig? A lifetime job thinking about what you know best . . .

Happy Birthday to Me!

Experimenting with one of my gifts . . . a macro lens!!!

A black-eyed Susan, but of course, almost ready to pop open . . .

A geranium enjoying the sunshine . . .

The peeling bark of trees located at Grounds for Sculpture . . .

A close up of a peacock feather from one of the residents of Grounds for Sculpture . . .

A portion of one of the sculptures . . . looks a little like a lollipop . . .

And, a close up of a leaf from one of the plants at Morven Gardens . . .

Ta-da! I love my macro lens!

Sunburned Palm

I wasn't the only living thing to get sunburned in St. Croix.

Which Way?

Cheerful, pretty, and informative.

Blue Rocks

Even the rocks are pretty in St. Croix! These blue and white rocks were along the shore at Cane Bay where we stopped to climb and swim.

Fan

This was my favorite plant on the grounds of the house where we stayed. It looked as if when the wind blew, it would automatically bend and begin fanning me.

Enjoy the View

My favorite photo of Fredericksted, St. Croix. All I need is a chair and a Carib.

A Beautiful Path

One of my favorite photos of Christiansted, St. Croix. Is this a beautiful walkway or what?!?!

Natural Habitat

It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me that I was thrilled when our Jeep tour guide Sidamo pointed out this field of pineapples and I was able to snap this photo!
