The Tin Man's Pumpkins

This must be the Tin Man's house. Look . . . there's his oil can!

Random Seasonal Display

What are these anyway? Well, they looked very nice mixed in with the greenery in a pot along a side street in Lambertville the day after Thanksgiving.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

What a face! You couldn't find a better behaved dinner guest anywhere . . .

Pumpkin Pie

All right, I'll say it. This is the picture perfect pumpkin pie crust!

Love Is Everywhere

Found this potato chip in the bag I bought to have with my lunch on the last nice day of 2009! Well, at least the last day nice enough to have lunch outside.

Who Buys a Cat?

I cannot take credit for the caption! It was actually part of a conversation I was once witnessed between two friends of mine. The woman was discussing her various cats and where she had purchased them and what type they were, etc. etc. The man just kept asking, "Who buys a cat?" This one has been hanging out in our front and back yards and I am struggling to resist the urge to put out food for her. Winter's coming and I feel bad for her (which is ironic because I am not a cat lover), but I know if I feed her, she's mine!!

Fall Colors

A most unusual and striking display of fall color.

Pumpkin Seeds

Shiny, white pumpkin seeds.

Penns Landing

Another reflection photo-op I couldn't pass up. This is one of my favorites.

Dumbarton Oaks

Fall foliage of trees, located on the grounds of Dumbarton Oaks, reflected in a neglected pool.

Rocks

I guess these actually qualify as boulders!

Blue Brick

I loved this slate-blue colored brick on a walkway in DC.

Pumpkins for Sale

Quite an assortment of pumpkin shapes, sizes, and textures for sale at Eastern Market.

An Early Christmas?

An early glimpse of holly and berries and a non-commercial sign that the holiday season is coming!

Dana's Dogwood, Late Fall

A late fall shot of Dana's dogwood - the leaves are more copper-colored.
